MAGA Game Plan: Elect A Lunatic To Lead America, Then Begin Fascist Looting

 Looting of our Freedoms and Then What Little Wealth We Non- Rich Have.

 Clearly Trump is mentally impaired and the Oligarchs and Fascists use this head fake to distract us from their empowerment to dismantle what democracy we have left. This is giving us zero voice in our fate, enabling them to increase their power over our economy, our personal lives and our participation in self-governance.  This is what fascists have done historically across the world and we are now living it.  

Look at the economy.  All the economic power/wealth is now in the hands of a few clever, greedy assholes.  Take for example, Data Centers.  Without consideration of our need for water and reasonable energy bills for our homes and small businesses, the tech sector barges ahead to build, build, build,  enriching themselves.  Or,  for another example, non-journalist corporate titans buying and consolidating our previously free, professional media outlets to control the messages we get from our government and institutions.  Or the consolidation of our rental/mortgage housing to a few major players to push housing rates ever upward.  Then the consolidation of our food supplies to the hands of a few retailers controlling the costs ever upward for our life sustaining food and household supplies.  And the reduction of our previously diverse major corporations into a few hands to exert control over our choices of products/services into a few hands. 

That is the game plan and unless we rise up and WE THE PEOPLE regain what little control we had over our American lives, we are doomed to be exploited and controlled by a few self-appointed greed hounds.

We must exert what few economic/citizenship options still exist to end this lunacy. 

YOU HAVE TO MOVE IMMEDIATELY SAYS THE FELON PRESIDENT

 The felonious elected fascist President of the United States of America told this to a group of tent-residing District of Columbia residents of a street in our nation's capital this past few days as he was apparently offended by their presence in his presence.

Yes, MAGA fascists, this is the person you elected to lead this formerly democratic country.  You chose him to lead us into the dark place of fascism from a place of struggle to remain a democracy of some sort.  And sure enough,  he is systematically dismantling our federal government and is not satisfied until he does the same with a few remaining states wanting to continue the struggle to provide the rule of law, not the rule of despots.

His basic instincts are clearly selfish and he has no hesitation at practicing cruelty to take us to the dark places he inhabits and wants us all to inhabit.

So, he will heard these tragic people into camps far from his sight in D.C. to get them out of sight, providing them no solutions to their plight other than compounds unfit for human habitation and without medical, social and humane assistance to attempt to improve their sad plight of poverty, drug addiction and mental illness. 

He is an ignorant sexual predator bent on revenge for imagined disrespect and insults to his person and evil behavior.  Rise Up America, cast this deplorable out of our government with his enablers seeking their own horrific enhancement to their deplorable lives. 

RESTORING AMERICAN DEMOCRACY

Reader, name one aspect of our constitutional democracy that MAGA is not in the process of dismantling.   This is clearly FASCISM  chosen by a large segment of American society.

CONFEDERATES + CAPITALISTS = CATASTROPHIC COUP

 The alliance between neo-confederates who hate federal protection of minority group citizens and uber capitalists who hate federal regulation of abusive capitalistic practices in a marriage made in heaven.  This is a further explanation of MAGA currently destroying the norms and practices of democratic governance we are experiencing here in the good old USA.  

They are not the majority of Americans but a ruthless and unprincipled faction who have skillfully overtaken us with minority rule.  This is a real coup taking place before our very eyes and most Americans are ill-and uninformed by a intimidated formerly free press and their own limited cognition of history and public affairs in part due to the frantic efforts to stay financially afloat of many and the willful ignorance of those who just don't engage with anything other than their own fulfillment and pleasure. 

The neo-confederates never accepted their defeat in our civil war, and their forbearers quickly mounted a very effective attack reversing most of the citizenship and civic gains experienced by their former slaves.  And they maintained full citizenship suppression of black Americans for these many decades later following the surrender at the conclusion of the physical war using any means necessary  to impede black integration into the society they continue to dominate as their majority erodes, from housing and voting discrimination to police brutality.  And the neo-confederates have never been limited geographically to the south and many in the north before and after the civil war were in financial collusion with the agrarians in the south.

The uber capitalists and their aggression  have used both the economy and the policy advocacy sphere to limit black and other minority person's access to capital to improve their lot in life while enhancing their power over this society.  This has included job discrimination, hoarding of money, public education destruction, tax benefits for the wealthy and promoting the concept of "meritocracy" over the concept of societal cooperation and compassion via right wing think tanks.  Theirs is a world of losers and winners and the losers be damned.  The winners become zillionaires empowered to loot our federal treasury.

What we are experiencing now with a fascist MAGA takeover and dismantling of our Federal government is akin to the destruction of the  reconstruction era  enabled by the south and north alike. Federal law has been our primary guardrail in preserving the vision of our founders to build a functioning democracy with the rule of law rather the rule of despots now defiling our Capitol. 

We, the non-confederates, minority persons soon to be our majority and advocates of a regulated capitalism are the majority.  We are the solution to this degradation of our once proud evolving democracy.  We must organize, legislate and legally rule  in protection of our Constitution and the rights it guarantees and protects to overwhelm this evil at our polling places.  We can do this with resolve, courage and sound communications of the promise of democracy to improve our lives, all our lives.

 

MAGA: CAPITALISM BASED ON TURNING THE AMERICAN DREAM TO A NIGHTMARE

The MAGA movement has its roots in the economic theories of Friedrich Hayak, going back to the late 1930's.  Deeply anti-communist (Stalinism), countering the theories of John Maynard Keynes which underpinned the New Deal of the FDR administration designed to successfully pull our failed economy out of the ditch.  

Hyak advocated what is now called neo-liberalism, positing that government should not be at the work of social services and progressive taxes to assist lower income citizens toward the middle class lifestyle.  Neo-liberalism is the basis of trickle down economics which have failed Americans first advanced by the Reagan administration. His theories also have advanced global economics practiced by ambitious corporations which has included offshoring finance and  manufacturing by foreign nations, moving such production overseas, gutting our heartland. 

But MAGA clearly misunderstands economics as they oppose extensive foreign trade and globalization of commerce, advocating rather protectionism, while limiting the role of government in protecting citizens from commercial abuse.  They are proposing austerity through tariffs imposed on key foreign made goods creating potential massive economic hardship for everyday Americans and the middle class.  They are proposing using Stalinesque style totalitarian government to increase the power of the wealthy and corporations  and unbridled capitalism over our middle class, which of course contradicts Hyak's economics.

Hyak's theories were popularized by Milton Friedman and the economics department of the University of Chicago and have been adopted by the elite of both of our political parties.   This has resulted in the gross economic inequality in our country and the extreme hardship faced by our middle and lower income classes with stagnant wage growth and inflation in all the following economic sectors:  housing, food, many categories of consumer goods, healthcare, transportation and higher education.  It has resulted in a debt ridden middle class and and sense of hopelessness and escapism with large sectors of our population.  This is manifested in massive mental illness increases and drug abuse.

The MAGA people incorrectly characterize government social safety nets and assistance for the financially deprived as "communism", which of course it is not as a study of the tenants of communism reveals. 

Hang on for dear life.  You've been hoodwinked by con-artists dedicated to their own well being, rewarding the "me"  without regard to the "we" required to provide the freedom of democracy, itself needing modernization and reform.  Not much help is currently on the way to curtail turning America into a full blown Kleptocracy and Autocracy until American Voters, particularly dependable Democratic Party voters awakened to what is being done to them by the wealthy and restore our Democracy and a government designed to make life better for all.  Fair market capitalism, not free market capitalism is compatible with democracy.  And we need to rewrite the idea of the American Dream which has been misconstrued to becoming rich.  It means having a stable, safe and financially secure life of freedom to pursue our dreams.  Wealth should not be in the equation.

IT IS NOW TIME TO RESIST AND HELP ONE ANOTHER GET THROUGH THIS

Fellow allies who worked to preserve what was left of our democracy, keep the faith in one another that continued dilligence in building the world's first multi-ethnic democracy will ultimately restore a society that is fair, dedicated to equality and made to serve us all.

Neofascist Republicans Plan To Steal Your Vote

 Yes, steal Democratic Party votes.  The plan was well underway post J6 when it became clear most of the J6 insurrection architects, especially office holders, would not be held accountable by a corrupted law and order system. 

It is well underway at the State level with the insertion of election deniers in election administrations in about 30 key voting jurisdictions, setting up for future certification challenges.  Further, voting registration among the 'wrong" voters in some red states is being restricted by challenges from right wing groups posing as voting protection organizations.  Registration lists are also being purged of the "wrong" voters in some of these states.

The campaign the fascists are running is totally fact and policy free; rather, a sinister and destructive denigration of the Democratic opposition  with racist, sexist and insulting barbs filled with lies, misinformation and disinformation to mislead the electorate.

The motive?  Republican policies proposed in election and their history of reducing Constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms granted years/decades ago have rendered their possibility of gaining an electoral majority nearly impossible has incentivized them to gain power by any means necessary.

Why do these neofascists want to dominate us?  To maintain an underclass to serve the interests and needs of an affluent upper class believe they are naturally superior to most and deserve a better existence than the masses of humanity.  Look at history, full of examples of such class divisions for centuries.  They use racism as one means of creating and maintaining an underclass though many just believe they are chosen to superiority as the natural order of things or ordained by some deity. 

This is the goal of the Heritage Society's PROJECT 2025 that only about half of American's are aware of.  It is a formula to strip our hard fought democratic rights as citizens and maintain an underclass serving the very wealthy.  This is completely antithetical to the intention of our Constitution and democracy and will create a fascist, authoritarian America. 

A key current tactic is a campaign Steve Bannon calls flooding the zone with lies and disinformation in order to confuse Americans about fact vs. fiction, truth vs. untruth.  This tactic included sustaining the campaign of a criminal, fraudster, deeply mentally troubled and con man ;  thus you see billionaires, millionaires and much of Silicon Valley supporting Donald Trump.  This program runs wide and deep through our political ecosystem.  Don't be fooled, Trump is a tool, a pawn and this movement won't disappear even with his defeat or demise.  These fascists welcome foreign participation in the flooding of the zone and in stirring up conflict in our divided society.  

Another strategy they have announced is through their racist, Texas based affilliate, True The Vote, is to flood voting precincts on election day with so called poll watchers.  I have had personal, direct encounters with these vermin at minority voting places where they harass and intimidate voters waiting in line to cast their votes.  They also have suppression techniques working to discourage or eliminate early and mail voting. 

The next phase, post campaign, which we Democrats will most likely win, will be challenging the legitimacy of the 2025 election with massive numbers of vote certification challenges.  With a fascist complicit conservative wing of our Supreme Court, don't count on justice being served.  

We who believe a democracy is the best way to assure our freedom and realize our potential must now prepare for a huge Presidential and State official  voter turnout, win a majority of congressional seats and mobilize our very best legal advocates to defeat this movement in our courts with the inevitable legal action an install as many democracy protecting guardrails in our system NOW as humanly possible. 

History shows when we mobilize we win.  When we vote, we win.  The time to act is now.  Complacency and Fascism are both enemies of democracy and freedom.

American Business: Giving you less for more

 We learned years ago we were shifting from a make things economy to a do it yourself economy.  

The digital age has quickly brought us to this dark place.  Remember the automat restaurants?  They tanked.  Remember the hardware store that did everything including putting together and delivering?  They spawned the Angi's of the world because we didn't /or in my case, couldn't do it ourselves.   Remember when you could take your radio or t.v. to a repair shop?  Or call a company to solve a problem with their product?  Or a department store where a clerk asked you  "can I help you"?  Or when you could call a company and get a live person on the phone for help with their product?  Those days are gone.  You are on your own.  

American business has abandoned us, its customers for what?  Fewer employees and more profit and a screw you attitude. And what do we get?  Long, highly legalized warranty statements that in the end say, screw you, you are on you own.  Many companies are no longer taking checks......you have to figure out often complex, un-user friendly digital/internet payment methods.  And now, we have the added worrying about our accounts/credit cards being hacked or identities being stolen and often with no recovery recourse.  

America has taken the concept of rugged individualism to a frightening new level and is abandoning the concept of cooperation/community required to maintain a democracy.  Who is leading that movement?  American industry/corporatization for the sake of unfettered free market capitalism.  With less and less accountability for fraud and theft.  And who has led us to that place?  Mostly Republicans under Ronald Reagan and those who governed after him.  

I for one DISSENT.  I enjoy our freedom but freedom without cooperation is destroying our hard fought for democracy as is also making life more difficult except for the very wealthy, who don't give a shit about the rest of us.  Rise Up America.  Most of us won't and don't because democracy takes more work than just voting, which many of us also do not do. These unengaged want a free ride and they are getting one to hell on earth.

REPUBLICANS HAVE MORPHED INTO A FASCIST PARTY.

 Some combination of greed and racism has allowed  the formerly formidable Republican Party to turn to fascism as its answer to its loss of power, appeal  and influence.  We liberals and Democrats need a productive two party system.

The party that once promoted the idea of freedom of the individual over the idea of freedom of the person within the collective is now gone.  They had some good ideas and influence on good governance, especially as related to keeping restraints on government to oppress through excessive control and taxation.  

Republicanism was also adamantly anti-communism.  Communist has two major characteristics-l. Governing is autocratic/totalitarian.  2. It is anti-capitalistic in its economic policy. It is hugely hypocritical of them that now they embrace autocracy and want to ally with autocratic nations while retaining their support for unrestrained free market capitalism.  

They also claimed to be the party of law and order.  Now they are the party of order as applied by an authoritarian ruler, but law?   Not so much.  They are now trying to demolish our justice system by corrupting the Supreme Court and attacking sitting judges, juries and prosecutors and eroding public confidence in our judicial system and nominating a convicted criminal as their choice to lead our country.

Their conservative idea of celebrating individualism and doing your own thing lawfully is now replaced with an ideology that promotes  heterosexual male dominance, Christian religion, superiority of Anglo-European ethnicity and nationalism over collective/cooperative laws/norms to better both society and the lives of individuals of all kinds of identities.  This is fascism with authoritarian governance as opposed to participatory democracy.

This is our choice in November 2024.  Pure and simple.  And they are deadly serious. 

AMERICA NEEDS TO FIGURE OUT MEMORIAL DAY

America sends its best and brightest off to kill  foreign authoritarians trying to destroy democracy yet here we are, considering electing our own predatory authoritarian MAGA movement dedicated to killing our democracy.  

Ok, which is it  you want congressional members, Supremes and the largely uninformed, unengaged or unhappy citizens who support these insurrectionists?

We are approaching your moment of truth in November, 2024.  Which is it?  The freedom to go to the beach, enjoy backyard cookouts and  holiday parades memorializing those who died so you could have this, or a country depriving women of their rights, rounding up immigrants wanting what we have into camps, forcing your twisted interpretation of religion on those of us not wanting it and depriving your neighbors of their voting rights who mourn their military family who gave it all up for you?  

You decide. 

See America In Zone of Interest Movie

 You simply must see the Academy Award film Zone of Interest.  It is a story about a German family living their best lives on the other side of a fence from Auschwitz.  Those of you who do not know what Auschwitz is and represents because you were not given history or civics classes in school .....it was a concentration camp in Poland run by fascist Nazi's where Jews were encamped and slaughtered in one of the most inhumane acts in history in the 1940's.  Many of your grandfathers served in our military to destroy the Nazi system, now reemerging in your own country. 

The story centers on the German Hoss family whose patriarch was the commandant of the slaughter camp.  You saw the Hoss family playing in the river, at their pool, in their beautiful garden and sleeping soundly in their lovely bedrooms.  Jonathan Glazer directed the film based on a novel documenting the lives of  the Hoss family, just mostly ordinary people. 

Julie and I watched this film on 4/6/2024.  It had so much symbolism, visual, auditory and storywise I had to go to Colossus movie club for a more complete understanding of it.  I highly recommend you do this too.

Essentially, it is a film about the human condition and how seemingly nice, ordinary people can live on the other side of a wall shielding horrific human acts of brutality and evil while living seemingly normal, very ordinary lives.  

Our Auschwitz acts in America are like the acclaimed screening of Birth of a Nation or Gone With the Wind, ignoring the horrors of slavery.  Or in the current era, Texas Governor Abbott stringing barbed wire across the Rio Grande to stop migrants from entering our country.  Or, the shipping of migrants to sanctuary cities without notice to "own the liberals." Or, the treatment of those who are transgender and their families.  Or the denial of women their right to healthcare and family planning.  Or former presidents promising retribution against those who have attempted to restrain his criminality.  Or white resentment against those they believe are in some way denying them their superiority by just existing and trying to fulfill their human needs and the needs of their families.

Those of us who are part of the resistance against the fascism emerging again are given to understand by this movie that we all are capable of inhumanity and need this film as a reminder that the resistance is totally required of us.  

Those living in the oblivion of the Hoss family may never get it.  Rudolf Hoss finally got it as he faced his execution when he was tried and convicted of .....yes, being very human.  He lamented his actions at the end, a bit late after slaughtering thousands of Jews. 

TRUMP IS A PARASITE LIKENED TO A COCKROACH

 

Republicans, you have gifted your country with a parasite who is asking for MORE TIME to pay the judgement for his fraud against the people of his state. 

 He has gone to people with little money and fewer brains on Go Fund Me for help to pay is legal bills.  He has leeched on your Party for money for those fees intended to fund campaigns for your fellow fascists. 

He has grifted his way to recover lost wealth through lousy business management to cheat his vendors and people to pay taxes he doesn't pay.  

He has sexually abused women for his own parasitic sexual gratification and display of non-existent power.

He caused an armed rebellion by really stupid people he convinced others stole an election from them and let them pay the price of legal consequence for killing and maiming police officers, defiling their own Capital building with their own excrement  while he sat watching these fools on TV munching burgers to satisfy his own hunger for crap food.

Now he wants you to make him President again in order to grift his way to a self-pardon from the crimes he parasitically covets to escape accountability for his predatory crimes.  He is a cockroach and so are you for empowering him.

 

AMERICANS HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE HOW THEY LIVE

 

 

Endowed by both nature and the Constitution created by their fellow Americans, Americans have the right to decide what kind of life we wish to live.  This unique social contract is the envy of much of the world without such rights in the societies in which they live.  It is unique also to the history of humans.   Let me enumerate those rights we all enjoy:

The right to govern ourselves:  Our Constitution and nature both grant us the right to decide how we govern ourselves and who governs us.  Not some privileged, grievance ridden despot who decides for us.  That has been tried throughout history and those governments and despots failed because their interests were served but not the interests of those they governed.  We also have the right to freely and peacefully dissent from the policies and leadership of our elected government. This right includes electing our leaders, providing a secure vote to do so and the ability to amend the laws protecting our rights and our Constitution and changing that leadership through our vote.

The right to decide whom we choose to love and what kind of family we wish to create together.  That right has recently been removed from us through  the interference of a despotic Supreme Court  giving government the power to decide if, when  and how we wish to create our family.   We can take that right back with laws we create and amend and our vote.

The right to a fair unabusive economic system through which we support our families.   We decide through our vote what is a fair price for our food, housing and transportation and how fairly we are paid compared to our fellow working citizens.  And the right to fairly share in the tax contributions we make with our fellow citizens in order to receive the public services necessary to have a good life.  This includes services to help elderly, disabled, unemployed and retired older persons with whom we share this country.

The right to justice and equality in a free society.   Our Constitution guarantees a right to seek fair treatment from our peers when we are accused to violating the laws of our country.  This is called due process.  And we are guaranteed the right to be protected from the violation of our rights  and physical security by fellow citizens and their organizations which are required to treat us all as equal human beings.  This includes the right to freely socialize in public through our public and private spaces, including our educational institutions without fear of physical harm from anti-social citizens and to have protection from such harm and remove those persons from society until they reform their behavior.

The right to education and  health.   These are rights all humans should enjoy from a society to which they contribute because education and health are necessities to a just and well-functioning social order.   Uneducated and poorly educated citizens are not able to make adequate contributions to society.  Citizens with health problems that can be mitigated by science and good care are in a better position to fully contribute to that society.

The right to not be a white Christian.  Many of us citizens and many more in the future are non-white.  And many of us are neither Christian nor religious.  We have a right to be that way because that is how we are born into life  without a choice.  Our ethnicity makes us no less equal in our human rights and as history and science has proven, no less capable as citizens that white persons.   Some of us decided we were created by a deity and chose to pay homage to them.  Some of us decided otherwise and choose not to pay homage to a deity.  That makes us no less human or a good, productive citizen.  This social diversity makes all our lives much more interesting.

The right to an unspoiled environment.  We need clean air, water, and a climate that we can exist in.  We have the tools and knowledge about how to provide these to a livable society and how to prevent fellow citizens from fouling them for their own selfish benefit to the detriment of fellow citizens.

The right to peace and the absence of destructive conflict.  This is with both external societies and factions within our own society that threaten our physical safety.   Humans have the mental capacity to resolve conflict through negotiation and forgiveness for wrongs done to us rather than physical harm and destruction.

In America, these rights provide us the freedom to prosper and enjoy a productive and satisfying life.  All of us.  Not just a few of us.   It is called democracy.

 

 

AMERICA IS ASLEEP TO ITS DEEP FASCIST HISTORY REPEATING

 Liz Cheney has warned us.  So has Rachel Maddow in her latest book PREQUEL.  How many Thanksgiving dinner table conversations this year centered on our alarming Fascist movement organizing to end our democracy, even among well read, informed and democracy supporting families?  I think very few.  Our mainstream media seems to be sleepwalking on the adoption of the Republican party of the MAGA movement which is clearly fascist, because it will help them retain power.

Read Rachel's amazing historical account of the pervasive fascist organizing in America, all across the land, in part funded by the Third Reich in the 30's and 40's.  It was supported by power hungry elected officials who even used the  government funded Franking Privilege to disseminate Nazi propaganda. numerous grassroots organizations met and launched support for Fascist Germany and Adolph Hitler, held meetings, staged events, recruited and raised money in tandem with racist and anti-Semitic organizations with longer-standing histories of hate in our country.  Are you and your family members familiar with this history?  Likely not as it is not taught in our elementary and secondary schools.  And as a political science major in college,  I can attest to its absence in much of academia. 

Much like the chaos the MAGA movement has initiated, or disruption as Steve Bannon characterizes, the attempts to legally restrain these actors was largely sabotaged by lawyers both in courts and through legislation, with anti-democratic fascist organizers characterized as just "good Americans."    Much of this movement  then was driven by white nationalist Anglos trying to preserve the whiteness and ethnic purity of our country.  The same motivation drives the MAGA movement today which also includes a desire to establish a "Christian" character to our society. 

America, we are repeating our history which we neither study nor learn from.  If pro-democracy patriots do not mobilize now against this threat to our magnificent experiment, we are about to lose it in 2024.  

Making our neighbors aware of the very real loss of our freedoms to a totalitarian future that will be very hard to reverse and mobilizing a vote in 2024 for democracy is the only solution to stopping a society transformation that limits the rights and participation of women, minority persons and non-"Christians" and dooms us to a dark, limiting future for both us and our children and grandchildren. Wake UP America.

Florida is modeling itself after the Nazi Third Reich, under Governor and Presidential hopeful DeSantis.  Historians report that Adolf Hitler studied U.S. Jim Crow and segregaton for his discrimination of German Jews.  

Here is a 2023 comparison of DeSantis's Florida policies compared to the Third Reich starting in the 1930's.

 DEMOCRACY AND VOTING

Florida-Adoption of authoritarian rule by the State Executive embodied in termination of a duly elected  state prosecutor whose policies DeSantis opposed, incarceration of parolees who legally voted, restriction of voting drop boxes and highly restrictive/punitive voter registration rules, limits on third party activists groups, limits on mail voting and restriction on providing water/food for line-waiting voters. Punish legal rivals through dubious legal action. Attacks on free press critical of DeSantis administration.. Takeover of the Republican Party by the MAGA movement.

Third Reich-Exploited democracy vulnerabilities to make imposition of authoritarian/undemocratic policies appear legal, undermined political norms to advantage fascism, use of emergency powers to advantage rule by their minority party.  Elimination of independent Press and instituted a state propaganda press, creation of a police state.  Takeover of the Conservative Party by the Fascists.

EDUCATION

Florida- Ban diversity, equity and Inclusion from curriculum.  Ban  and criminalize "wokeism" among public school teachers.

Third Reich-Taught ethnic superiority of Aryans and Propagandized German Nationalism.

BOOK BANNING

Florida-Selectively banning books written by Black authors and those with anti-racism themes and history of minority U.S.A. persons  and tolerance for LBGTQ persons; proposing using libraries for USA nationalism indoctrination.

Florida-Condemnation of citizens espousing tolerance and support for those with differing lifestyles and sexual orientation or "wokeism"

Third Reich-Repression of homosexuals, arresting and jailing them and ultimately, murdering them.

ABORTION

Florida- legislation banning abortions after 6 weeks

Third Reich-Support for the Catholic Church's position of banning abortion through agreements with local Catholic bishops and the a fascist neutrality agreement with the Vatican.

HEALTHCARE

Florida-Reduce/eliminate Medicaid services for low income Floridians, ban/criminalize gender affirmimg medical care, reduce budgets for mental health care.  Opposed Covid vaccines based on anti-science ideology.

Third Reich-Instituted forced sterilization of physically/mentally impaired and extermination of them, reduced health services funding to fund the war effort. 

TREATMENT OF UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS

Florida-Transport undocumented immigrants to Blue states.

Third Reich-Banning of immigration of those deemed not Aryan. 

 

This situation in Florida is clearly not coincidental.  It is a deliberate undermining of democracy in the interest of attaining power for leaders with authoritarian leadership tendencies.  The research is clear.....those tendencies reside primarily with members of the Republican party.  It is ironic that many Florida residents are members of minority groups such as those north Americans of the Jewish faith and Hispanic persons  whose roots or families  immigrated here to escape  from  south and central American countries with highly abusive authoritarian/fascist leadership. 

America Has A Gun To Its Head: Bullies Or Frady Cats?

 America's fascist right is terrorizing us.  Is it because they are abusive bullies or afraid, or both?  

Probably it is a combination of both from my youthful experience with schoolyard bullies.  They enable the gun culture that is mass killing our fellow citizens at a rate the world, outside of declared warfare, has never seen.  It is a way of intimidating us to submit to their will which is largely rejected the the majority of Americans.  But they are not satisfied with intimidating us; they are restricting our right to convenient, fair elections with numerous voter suppression tactics, many of the tactics employing our voting laws and procedures.  

Why?  Because they are unsuccessful in selling their many bad ideas on race, personal rights, religion, economics, governing and many other cultural arenas.  So, rather than employing logic and salesmanship, they find intimidation and fear inducement much easier and apparently more fun. 

The bullying tactics emanate from their innate authoritarian personalities.  The fear comes from their attachment to the status quo where they, the fast disappearing white/anglo majority, foresee their power and dominance reducing in the very near future.  Rather than embracing a society of diverse ethnic and economic backgrounds, they somehow believe that life and privilege is a pie; with more of the pie to share with others taking pieces they covet for themselves.  

So, how do we end the bullying and the gun to our heads?  We use the legal system to fight them, the electoral arena to reduce their abuse of power, education to change some hearts and minds and imbue future generations with a love for participatory democracy, fairness and enjoyment of cultural diversity.

It will take time, but we can disarm them.
